Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome back to Divine Harmony, her Voice in Faith. I'm so excited that you're joining us today for another empowering episode. I'm your host, cliche Rice, and today we're diving into a topic that is incredibly close to my heart the power of using your voice to live out God's purpose in your life. So I asked the question have you ever wondered how your voice fits into God's big plan for you? Well, if you have, today we're going to explore just that how the words we speak, the actions we take and the way we live each day can be an expression of God's love and purpose in our lives. I truly believe that your voice matters and it's an essential part of the purpose that God has designed for you. And I say that because, with me doing the podcast, I really always wanted to have a platform where people and I'm not just going to say people, I'm going to say godly women and like-minded people, and Christians and believers in the faith have a platform to use their voice. And that was one of the things. That's why I'm so excited about this, because that was one of the things that I prayed and asked God to bless me with a platform where I can allow others to have a voice on it to spread their testimony and spread their gospel, and spread their truth. Not their gospel, the gospel, and spread their truth.

Speaker 1:

So grab your favorite cup of coffee, tea or whatever it is that you love to drink, sit back and let's get into this. All right? So let's start by grounding ourselves in one of my favorite scriptures, which is Jeremiah 29, 11. God says, for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and to hope. This verse is so powerful because it reminds us that God's plan for us is not by accident. It's intentional. God designed each of us with purpose, and within that purpose is the powerful gift of our voice. When you think about it, your voice is a tool. It's a tool that can bring life, hope and transformation to the world around you. But I want to ask you are you using your voice in the way God intended? Or have you been hesitant, perhaps unsure of the impact your words can have, or maybe fearful of what someone would think about the things that you're saying?

Speaker 1:

I want to encourage you today to think about how you're using your voice. It's not just about speaking words, it's about speaking life. So let's break this down a little further. So your voice in word form, right. Whether you're speaking to someone directly, sharing the gospel, or even using social media to spread messages of loves, your words have the ability to influence. Right In Proverbs 18.21,. It says death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Every time we speak, we have the potential to bring either life or death. Think about that. Like you can either encourage someone, bring them up, or discourage them, bring them down, and that's a powerful tool, right, our voices, that we can encourage or we can discourage. We can lift up or we can tear down.

Speaker 1:

So let's be intentional about the words that we choose when we're speaking to people. Even me, when I'm posting on social media, before I post anything, I always, always, always check what my words and the way that I'm saying it, especially on social media, because when you're typing, as we all know, when you're texting or typing something, people put their own little oomph on what you're saying. So I'm always making sure that I'm intentional about the words that I choose to write, when I write them, and I'm always making sure that when I speak, I'm speaking in love. It's coming from a humble place. Whatever it is, even when someone doesn't have the same thought process or the same perspective that I have, I always try myself to speak intentionally about what I'm saying or what I'm responding to. So sometimes our action speaks louder than words. So if you're living out your faith, others will notice. It might be through your kindness, your patience, or just your integrity or your willingness to serve. I know that for me, I always notice people's heart first. That's like the first thing that I always hone in on. I don't know why, but it's just something I do.

Speaker 1:

So 1 Peter 4.10 reminds us as each has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's grace. It to serve one another as good stewards of God's grace. Your voice isn't just what you say, but it's also what you do and how you live. Another important aspect of using your voice is understanding that God's purpose for you is not accidental. Ephesians 2.10 tells us, for we are his workmanship. 2.10 tells us, for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. God has created you uniquely with a specific calling. Don't be afraid to speak his truth and walk confidently in his plan. You are his masterpiece, created for good works, so walk boldly in that right. You're not an accident. We are his workmanship. We're created, in Christ Jesus, for good works. He prepared us ahead of time.

Speaker 1:

I always like to use this phrase. I do not remember where I got it. I did not come up with it but I always like to say that if I'm going to speak to someone, remember it's the Holy Spirit that's in us that speaks to people. So if I'm going to that, it's God speaking through us. When we have those, I'm talking about those moments when you're in Walmart and something just says talk to that lady over there. That little nudge, you know that's what I'm talking about. That's the Holy Spirit speaking through us.

Speaker 1:

I have learned that if I am obedient to that voice, god has already gone before me and prepared the person's heart to receive it. I have never once heard that silent voice to speak to someone. Wherever I am, obeyed the silent voice and the person wasn't ready to receive what I had to say. It has never once happened. Now. I'm not talking about when you're just out and about and you're spreading the gospel and you're walking up to strangers, no matter what, you're talking to everybody, and then someone is like get away from me, I don't want to hear about Christ, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about when God, when the Holy Spirit, actually speaks to you quietly and says go speak to that person. I've never had an instance where that person wasn't ready to receive what I had to say. And I say that to give you courage Don't be afraid to speak his truth, especially when led by the Holy Spirit. Walk confidently in his plan. You are his masterpiece, created for good works, so walk boldly and boldly walk, okay.

Speaker 1:

As we explore how we can live out God's purpose through our voice, I encourage you today to think about the areas of your life where you might be hesitant or afraid to speak up. Do you have a message of encouragement to share with someone deep deep down inside of you? I mean, do not be afraid. I cannot express this so much and I can look, I can speak for myself. God placed on my heart to start a podcast. I'm going to say, maybe seven years ago I straggled along during these seven years. I wrote so much content, I created so much things during these seven years, just being afraid to speak up, but the moment I said all right, lord, I'm going to be obedient. Your will, not mine's, I'm telling you it just flows it literally. So it just flows out of me Honestly, it really does so.

Speaker 1:

Do you have a message of encouragement to share with someone? Or maybe there's a truth you need to speak into your own life, or into someone else's life a friend, a family member? The world is waiting to hear the truth that God has placed inside of you. The world is waiting. God has prepared you for a time, and the time is now. Speak up. Don't be quiet, don't be fearful, don't be hesitant. Tell your truth, talk about your testimony, talk about what God has done, talk about how good God is with someone today.

Speaker 1:

So, as we wrap up today's episode, I want to leave you with this thought your voice is a tool for God's glory. Doesn't matter how loud or how soft you speak. It doesn't matter if you're speaking to a crowd of people or just one person, a family member, a neighbor. What matters is that you're using the gift of your voice to share his truth, to share God's love and to share God's hope with the world around you. If you've been holding back or feeling unsure about your purpose. Know this, please, let it get deep inside of you. I pray that it would resonate within your heart. You are walking in God's purpose every day, whether you see it or not. Your voice is part of his beautiful plan and, just like we read in Jeremiah 29, 11, god's plan for you his plan, not yours, god's plan for you are filled with hope and promise. I encourage you today start speaking his truth. Start speaking it into your life and into the lives of others. Speak his truth, that word that he placed on your heart. Use it to encourage, to uplift, to point others to the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. Use your voice and remember, when you live out your purpose with confidence, you're bringing glory to God in ways you may have never realized. So be bold. Be bold in your walk.

So, heavenly Father, we come before you with grateful hearts, lord God, thanking you for the opportunity to gather today and dive deeper into your word. Lord, we thank you for the reminder that our voices are powerful tools in your world. Yes, lord, they're powerful tools in your hands, meant to speak truth, love and hope to the world. Lord, god, lord, help us to boldly step into your purpose, boldly step into the purpose you have for us, father, using our voices to glorify you in everything we do, lord, god, lord, I pray that each listener who has tuned in today is encouraged and inspired to walk confidently. Confidently, lord God. To walk confidently, lord God, in their God-given purpose. Fill them with your peace and strength. Fill them, lord God, so that they may go out to speak your truth and share your love wherever they go, with whomever you place in front of them. Help them to remember that, no matter where they are in their journey, you are always with them, guiding them every step of the way. We ask for your continued presence in our lives, that we may always reflect, lord God, your light in a world that desperately needs it. Heavenly Father, may we use our voices to encourage, uplift and share the good news of your love, your grace and your salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray Amen and amen.

Speaker 1:

So, guys, I never want to assume that you already know Christ personally, because you can belong before you believe. But if you're listening today and you feel like you've drifted away, or if you don't yet know him but want to know Christ, I want to invite you to come back home to return to your first love. If this resonates with you. I'd love to encourage you to repeat this prayer after me. Father in heaven, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I repent of my sins. I ask you to come into my life, renew a right spirit within me. I surrender my heart to you and invite you to lead me on this journey. Thank you, lord, for your grace. Thank you, lord, for your love and forgiveness. In Jesus name, I pray, amen. So if you just prayed this prayer, I'm super excited for you.
